When one battles low self esteem, half the time we are battling a lot of self neglect and lack of confidence amongst other things.
We are reluctant to put ourselves first because we have doubts and always second guessing our abilities to do things that we are even good at.
Sometimes the inability to accept compliments and dwelling only on the negatives are another factor also.
Here are a few things to try….
Make conscious effort to take credit for all that you do even if it means writing them down so you remember, do the things that stimulate your creativity.
Learn to spot the negatives and keep them at bay, change your circle to those who only respect, know your worth and are not afraid to shout it from the roof top.
Positive relationships that will boost your esteem is the key of interaction in and out of the office.
It is OK to challenge yourself but do not over criticize yourself, do not ever entertain the thought that you are inadequate or unworthy.
Most importantly Be Kind To Yourself.
